The North Quadrangle residence hall is located one block northwest of the "diag" on the UM campus, and is right next to Ingalls Mall, which contains Hill Auditorium, Rackham Building, and the Michigan League. North Quad is the University of Michigan's first new residence hall built since 1967. North Quad opened in fall of 2010, with a combination of residence hall rooms and academic classroom space.  

Private Single is the most common room type at North Quad.  A Single includes a twin bed with semi-private bath facilities.  Double rooms and Double Suites are also available.  Double Suites include a living area, two bedrooms and a semi-private bath.  Double Suites can hold up to four overnight guests. 

All rooms are air-conditioned, and Housekeeping services are provided Monday through Friday. Housekeeping will make the bed, sweep and wet mop floors, clean mirrors, remove trash, and refresh towels and wash cloth. If the guest stays longer than three days, housekeeping will strip and replace all bed linen every third day excluding weekends.

*NOTE: we do not assign roommates. Individuals reserving double rooms are responsible for payment of room and providing roommate name to Conference Services at the time of reservation.

All room rates are per night. Please provide us with a credit card number to pay for your stay. Your credit card will be charged at the time of reservation.

If cancellation is necessary, please contact our office 48 hours in advance of check-in at 734-764-5297 to avoid any penalty. Guests who do not cancel 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged one night’s stay. Guests who do not check-in on their scheduled arrival date will be charged one night's stay.

Parking

Parking permits can be purchased at North Quad upon arrival for the Palmer Commons Parking Structure. The cost will be $10 per day payable only by credit card.
