Summer Program Safety Procedures
This is the fourth of seven sections in the online orientation. This section provides information about mandatory safety procedures.
Finding a Missing Camper
All summer groups and camps are required to have written protocol for locating a lost camper. Please see the "Templates" section of this website for a model you may download and customize for your program's use.
We generate an alphabetical list of campers (the "Alpha List") that includes each camper's name, room number, room phone number, and sport.
If you are looking for any campers, the camp office staff can refer to the Alpha List and call or check the rooms of any missing campers. Please take attendance at the beginning of each session to ensure each camper is accounted for.
