No matter where you go on campus, Blue Bucks are a smart alternative to cash. They're loaded on your Mcard so all you have to do is swipe and go. Blue Bucks allow you to dine, shop for essentials, grab a snack to go, do laundry or even raid a vending machine. And best of all: they’re refundable!
Blue Bucks are accepted for purchases at:
- Residential Dining Halls
- Residential shops and cafés
- Eateries at the Unions
- University Hospitals
- Athletic concession stands
- Vending machines across campus
- Copiers and printers in select locations
- Residence Hall laundry facilities
- The Michigan League
Blue Bucks work like a pre-paid debit card account, and are part of every U-M meal plan. You can use your Blue Bucks in the dining halls, at our cafes and convenience stores, and at select venues around campus - like the Union food court, concession stands at the Big House, the Fish Bowl vending machines, or to do laundry in the Residence Halls. Blue Bucks roll over from fall to winter term. Account balances greater than $5 are refundable at the end of the winter semester.
Dining Dollars
Additional meals in the residence halls and shopping in our convenience stores? Dining Dollars make it quick, easy, and convenient. Dining Dollars are included in all meal plans for our residential students. In addition to meals and snacks in our dining halls, Dining Dollars can be used at our many in-hall shops and cafes. So when you're yearning for a late night pizza or an early morning cup of java, when you run out of paper or essential supplies, take advantage of your Dining Dollars.
Like block meals, Dining Dollars roll over from fall to winter term. Both expire at the end of the winter term.
