Guidelines for Students Studying Abroad or on Academic Co-op Programs Finding housing in Ann Arbor can be challenging for those studying abroad or on an academic co-op. University Housing is aware of these difficulties and has a variety of residence hall and apartment options available for students returning from off-campus programs. All inquiries from students returning from a term abroad or academic co-op should be directed to the Program Manager for Campus Outreach (734- 764-7455) according to the following schedule by completing the online application . Winter Term Placement Students studying abroad fall term and are interested in winter term placement should contact University Housing as soon as possible. We are better able to assign students who contact us prior to December 15. Fall Term Placement Students studying abroad for the fall term and/or winter term interested in securing housing for next fall term will have priority after current residence hall residents. This group of students should contact University Housing between February 1 and March 10.
