The Loft Configuration
The Loft Configuration
This is the way your furniture will most likely be set up when you enter your room, because surveys have shown us that this is the most preferred setup by students.

1. Place your desk with attached desktop organizer on it where you want one end of your loft to be.

2. Place your dresser approximately where the other end of your loft will be.

3. Place pins in the pinholes on top of the dresser. Then, place your bookcase on top of the dresser, making sure you align the bookcase pinholes with the pins in the dresser top.

4. Place the bed frame on top of the other furniture. Make sure you have removed the mattress from the bed frame to make lifting easier and safer.

5. In the loft configuration, you can achieve two different heights for your bed:
A. Lowest height - bed frame directly on the supporting furniture.
B. Highest height - shorter ends of the bedposts down, line up the pinholes along the head and foot board horizontal stretchers with the pins you have placed in the tops of the bookcase and the desktop organizer.

6. Make sure to use the available ladder to get up and down safely from your loft.

The Bunk Bed Configuration
The Bunk Bed Configuration 1. Remove the mattresses from your beds for easier and safer lifting. Place one bed frame on the floor where you would like to have your bunk bed. Position the bed so the shortest bedposts are closest to the floor.

2. Before setting the second bed onto the first, place one pin in each of the lower bed bedposts, so the two beds will be securely aligned with one another.

3. Position the second bed on top of the first with the longest bedpost pointing down towards the floor, making sure the safety return guard rail is positioned on the outside of the bed and not against the wall, so it can be utilized as a safety guard rail on the upper bed.

4. Check to be sure the pins are firmly connecting the two beds together at each bedpost.

5. Now you can put your mattresses back on your beds and arrange your other furniture in your room as you like.

The Trundle Configuration
The Trundle Configuration 1. Remove the mattresses from your beds for easier and safer lifting. When this configuration is done your beds will be in a "L" shape pattern.

2. Place your first bed, which will be the lower bed in the "L" shape pattern, where you want it with the shortest bedposts down towards the floor.

3. Choose either your bookcase or dresser and place it perpendicular to the inside corner of the "L" shape pattern made by the bed. Position the bookshelf or dresser far enough away to equal the length of the bed that will be making the other stem of the "L" shape pattern.

4. Place two pins in the top of the bookcase or dresser. Then, place two pins in the top of the safety return guard rail on the lower bed. These will connect with the bottom of the top bed's bedposts.

5. Line up the pinholes in the bottom of the bedposts at the head of the upper bed with the pins in the top of the dresser. Then, line up the pinholes in the bottom of the bedposts at the foot of the upper bed with the pins placed on the lower bed's safety rail.

6. Place the second bed on top of the first bed and dresser, perpendicular to the first bed, with the shortest end of the bedposts facing down.

7. Check all of the pin connections to make sure they are secure.

The Single Bed Configuration
The Single Bed Configuration There are some options designed into your bed that you might not be aware of. As we showed in the loft configurations, your bed frame is reversible. It can be flip-flopped to be whatever height you like. The mattress will lay on either side of the platform. For extra storage under your lower bed, you might want the longest bedposts facing towards the floor; to have your bed lower, place the shortest bed posts towards the floor.

Other Ideas
Other pieces of furniture besides the beds can also be stacked. As indicated in the photos of the different configurations, you can stack a bookcase onto a dresser, or a dresser onto another dresser. Simply place pins at pinhole locations to connect the two pieces of furniture.-Top-
