Hall Parking Permit Application
Residents of University Housing are eligible to submit an application to be part of a lottery for an academic year parking permit that can be used to park one vehicle in a surface parking lot immediately adjacent to the Baits Houses, Bursley Hall, Fletcher Hall, and Oxford Housing.
Special priority will be given to returning residents of Baits Houses, Bursley Hall, Fletcher Hall, and Oxford Housing when entering the parking lottery. This special priority is in effect during the beginning of th parking permit lottery only (see timeline below). Students who have signed contracts for the aforementioned facilities will receive an e-mail inviting them to apply for a parking permt. The information contained within this e-mail will direct students to an on-line application.
Permits will be issued to participants in the lottery based on the availability of open spaces in the parking lots at each building. Applicants will be informed by the dates listed below if they have received a permit. Submitting this application is not a guarantee that a permit will ultimately be issued.
Permit cost for 2008-2009 is $210. Parking permits are valid in designated parking lot only from September 1, 2008 to May 3, 2009.
Terms and Conditions
- Residents may only enter the lottery once and will receive a maximum of one parking permit for one vehicle. No resident is eligible for multiple parking permits.
- Residents who submit any false information as part of participation in a parking lottery or in the submission of a parking permit application will be subject to removal from the lottery and/or revocation of the permit.
- Residents are not permitted to enter the lottery for purposes of acquiring a permit for anyone other than themselves. This includes selling permits or the sharing of vehicles owned by someone other than the applicant or her/his family.
- Alteration, modification, duplication, or transference of University Housing parking permits is prohibited.
- The cost of a University Housing parking permit for the parking lots at Bursley Hall, Baits Houses, Fletcher Hall, and Oxford Housing will be billed for this amount to their Student Accounts upon being issued a parking permit.
- Individuals entering the University Housing parking lottery are entering a binding agreement that they intend to purchase a parking permit from University Housing. Any returns or reimbursements of sold parking permits will be granted solely at the discretion of University Housing.

Lottery results will be e-mailed to students. On-line acceptance of permit and submission of vehicle information must be received by June 15. Spaces not accepted will be released for the next parking lottery. |

All students are eligible to submit an on-line parking permit application for the July 15 lottery. Students residing in Baits, Bursley, Fletcher, and Oxford will have priority over residents of other buildings. |

Lottery results will be e-mailed to students. On-line acceptance of permit and submission of vehicle information must be received by July 25. Spaces not accepted will be released for assignment to students on the parking waitlist. |

Lottery results will be e-mailed to students. On-line acceptance of permit and submission of vehicle information must be received by August 7. Spaces not accepted will be released for assignment to students on the parking waitlist. |
Applying
Residence Hall parking permit applications are processed on-line. Residents will receive an e-mail with a link to the application as shown in the Residence Hall Parking Permit Application Schedule shown above.
