Contract Reassignment
New transfer students are eligible to assume the residence hall space of another student who already has a signed contract for the upcoming academic term but wants to pursue other housing options. Students who wish to reassign their contract to an incoming student can submit their information on the contract reassignment electronic bulletin board. You may view current listings and further information about contract reassignment under "Contracts and Rooms."

Off-Campus Housing
Any housing not owned and operated by the University is considered "off-campus housing." Off-Campus Housing includes small group housing - fraternities, sororities, and student-owned-and-operated co-ops - as well as apartments, houses and rooms within houses. Two-thirds of the University's students live in the off-campus market. Most off-campus housing located near the campus comes furnished. Other off-campus housing consists of large unfurnished apartment complexes, occupied by professionals and graduate students, which is located at the periphery of town.
