Art Lounge, Michigan Union
The Michigan Union is celebrating its 100th anniversary! It conveniently hosts study lounges, meeting rooms, food and retail shops, a ticket office, University and student government offices and more.
Students often find that the convenience of good food right in the residence halls leads them to eat more meals there than they originally expected. To accommodate an increase in your meal plan, or other modification to it, you may change your meal plan online by September 30 for Fall Term or January 31 for Winter Term.
You can supplement your meal plan by using your
Blue Bucks debit-style account. Your Mcard (UM ID card) will provide
you access to your account to buy food and other items in retail dining
locations, to use the vending machines (and laundry facilities) in the
residence halls and to eat at several commercial vendors' restaurants
in the Michigan Union or Pierpont Commons.
