If you have a question, CIC probably has the answer! Find out online, or visit in person at the Michigan Union or Pierpont Commons.

Residence Hall Address - Title Text

When you log on to our website to retrieve your room assignment, you'll receive a Move-In unloading permit. When displayed on your dashboard or rearview mirror, it will allow you to park in designated areas near your residence hall for up to 30 minutes while you unload your vehicle. We will also give you information about parking in Ann Arbor when you are done unloading. Parking regulations are strictly enforced in the city; park only in permitted areas and do not allow your parking meter to expire if you park on the street.

During the academic year, parking on campus is extremely limited. Freshmen and sophomores are not eligible for UM parking permits. The University encourages students to leave their vehicles at home. There is a free and frequent University bus service connecting campus locations, and an Ann Arbor city bus service, run by the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority, or AATA. UM students can ride the AATA buses for free by showing their Mcard (UM ID card).

University Housing offers limited parking options for students of certain residence halls. Students, including freshman, may apply for these spots via an online lottery.
