Northwood I & II Undergraduate Apartments
Northwood I and II are home to hundreds of sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students. Northwood combines the best of on-campus living with the independence and privacy of your own apartment.
The complex includes nearly 400 apartments with five different floor plans and occupancy options for one, two or three students. Live-in Resident Advisors are available to help you get to know your neighbors and find your way around the apartment community.

Northwood is part of the University’s North Campus and residents have easy access to many facilities and services, including:
- The Duderstadt Center — computer/video games, the Mujo Café, the Architecture and Engineering Library and more
- North Campus Recreation Building — exercise, fitness and fun
- Pierpont Commons — computing, recreation, retail eateries and more
- Plymouth Road shopping area — grocery stores, restaurants and shops
- 1588 Cram Circle Community Center — photocopying, faxing and free lending of sewing machines, vacuums, jumper cables, etc.
- Bursley Hall – for quick and easy meals at the dining hall or at the Blue Apple Café
Northwood I
This North Campus apartment complex includes six buildings and 100 apartments. All Northwood I apartments feature steam heat and hookups for washers and gas dryers. Limited storage is provided in onsite lockers.
Northwood II
Set in a lovely wooded area, Northwood II includes nearly 300 apartments in 35 brick and wood buildings. Three coin-operated laundry facilities are located in Northwood II and are available to all residents. Storage lockers provide space for stowing personal belongings.
