Northwood III
Located on our North Campus, Northwood III apartments are the newest
on-campus option for sophomore to senior students. Originally part of our
Family Housing, a limited number of apartments became available to single
undergraduate students in Fall 2004. For the academic year 2005-06 the undergraduate
housing in Northwood III will have more apartments and more occupancy options
to choose from.
Northwood III consists of 21 brick and wood buildings, 392 apartments which
can house at least 536 upper class students. Northwood III apartments are
heated by steam heat. There are 4 laundry facilities (Entrée Plus
compatible) within the complexes. Northwood III has laminate flooring and
each apartment has DSL capability.
The apartments are located close to NCRB and close to a variety of shopping
areas on Plymouth Road. Economy 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments
are available, as is limited storage space. We have 5 different occupancy
options for students to choose from:
- economy 1 bedroom (1 person only)
- 1 bedroom with 1 person
- 1 bedroom with 2 people
- 2 bedrooms with 2 people
- 2 bedrooms with 3 people
We have live-in staff called Community Aides to assist students within the
Northwood III community. Students will also be represented in the Northwood
Community Apartments Resident’s Council.
