Residence Hall Repair & Replacement Charges

All residence hall residents must complete, sign, and return a Room Condition Inventory (RCI) at the beginning of the school year, or at the time of moving into a new residence hall room. Residents are held responsible for any damage found to their room when they move out unless a) it was noted on the RCI, b) it is normal wear and tear or c) it is a maintenance problem that arose during the year and it was properly reported. Residents are also held responsible for any missing furniture that was in their room at move-in.

A representative list of standard repair and replacement charges for residence hall furniture or room elements is updated annually by Housing Facilities.
