University Housing, in conjunction with the Information Technology Central Services (ITCOM)
provides 91 television channels to the residence halls.
The Michigan Cable Network consists of six channels provided by University Housing on the UMTV residence hall lineup UMTV is ITCom's campus-wide cable
system and carries both academic programming and video-conferencing as well as entertainment television. The
new channel lineup for Fall 2007
includes new programming from Campus TeleVideo such as the NFL network and the Big Ten Network. For

Note: There are two cable outlets in your room. The top outlet no longer provides Comcast service after
8/31/07 and has been covered with a plug. The bottom outlet provides UMTV service and has a cable with
locking ferrule attached.
Channel 52 - Michigan InfoChannel Channel 52 - Michigan InfoChannel We invite all schools,
colleges, divisions and departments of the University to submit information
pertaining to events, activities, and programs at the University of Michigan
and throughout the Ann Arbor community. University Housing will broadcast
these events 24 hours a day to students in their residence hall rooms. University affiliates
may submit event information for InfoChannel

Lampoon Network currently services over 400 colleges and universities
throughout the United States, reaching as many as 3.5 million students,
or nearly one in four of all 18 to 24 year old college students.The
combination of National Lampoon's original programming, combined with
Burly Bear's edgy library of programs, returns National Lampoon to prominence
on college campuses. In the 1970s and 80s, National Lampoon was the most
widely read magazine on college campuses. And today, the website, nationallampoon.com,
is one of the most popular humor sites on the internet. Zilo
TV brings colleges and universities the highest quality original programming
integrated with other online and live event content. Broadcast in three-hour
original programming blocks aired four times per week, our programs respond
to the viewing needs of the college audience. Zilo TV addresses their
interest in sports, music, reality and pop culture in a brand new way:
fresh, edgy, and combined with live (we bring our programs on campus)
and interactive components.

University Housing, a unit of the Office of Student Affairs, operates
the Michigan InfoChannel, part of a state of the art education and entertainment
cable television system in its twelfth year on campus. The overall purpose
of the Michigan InfoChannel is to enhance the quality of life for students
residing in University Housing. Through information, education, and entertainment
the cable channel will inform residents of a wide range of campus and
community events and activities.
The ResearchChannel (formerly
ResearchTV) was founded by a core group of research universities and corporate
research divisions dedicated to broadening the access to and appreciation
of our individual and collective activities, ideas, and opportunities
in basic and applied research. One of the major goals of the ResearchChannel
is to use content, content creation, and manipulation processes as a workbench
to test materials for our future analog and digital broadcast and on-demand
multimedia offerings, thus providing an unusual opportunity to experiment
with new methods of distribution and interaction on a global basis.
With over 200 members, WOLV provides coverage of Michigan athletic events,
news programming, game shows, and a variety of new programs and events.

The Residence Halls Association sponsors all movies played on the RHA Movie Channel. All movies are rented through vendors that contractually handle copyright procedures. Generally, the movies will be first-run new releases from a wide variety of studios. Movie listings, as well as other channel listings, are available on the RHA InfoChannel, Channel 56. You can also find a complete
schedule for the month on the Housing website.
ResComp
TV is provided to University Housing residents as a resource for training
information, computer resources, and site status as well as network status.
The Residence
Life Cinema channel provides programming geared to specific issues affecting
the lives of University Housing residents, such as academics, diversity,
