Help be Our Eyes and Ears
If you are the victim of any crime or if you suspect criminal activity in or around any residence hall, contact the Department of Public Safety, a full-service police department, at 763-1131 anytime, 24 hours a day, and a Housing Security Officer will be dispatched to meet with you. If you need emergency assistance (crime in progress, medical emergency), dial 911 and officers will be dispatched to assist you. The University operates an anonymous tip network to report fraud, vandalism, theft, or arson of U-M property, offering a cash reward for information that leads to the recovery of property or the apprehension of any person responsible for these crimes.
