Electronic Lock Systemimage of lockset keycard

All residence halls have electronic locksets for resident rooms and community bathrooms/shower rooms with the exception of the Martha Cook, Henderson House, Law Quad, and Northwood 3 Apartments.
The electronic locksets operate using a key card. There is also a Keypad or PIN function on the locksets for additional security. Residents are required to use both their key card and PIN code to gain access to their room and bathroom/shower rooms.

Guidelines for Using The Electronic Lockset Key Card

  • Always remember to take your room card with you when exiting your room. The doors automatically lock when closed.
  • You may change the PIN number on your card to a different 4 digit combination. Locate the kiosk in the building or the nearest building. Never write the PIN number on your card.
