2012-2013 Housing Sign-Up

University Housing offers three unique Theme Communities for students interested in living with students with a similar focus. All of the programs and initiatives are around that particular theme– a common interest you share with others. As a participant you’ll have the opportunity to benefit and contribute to making the Theme Community successful.

Attend an Open House below to learn more and by attending the open house you will be given priority in Signing Up for a space in that Theme Community before the general Sign Up process begins. Check out the descriptions on the back to see if one is a fit for you!

Attend an Open House!

• Attendance at a Theme Open House Presentation gives you priority in signing up for that Theme program but is not a guarantee that you will receive a placement in that community.
• All roommates must attend an Open House in order to all be eligible. One roommate cannot attend on behalf of others.
• Attending one theme community Open House does not give you priority for all three. You must attend an Open House for each Theme Community you are interested in and would like priority Sign Up.
• Returning to a Theme Community? If you would like to return to Cheever or International Impact , you will need to attend the informational session to receive priority to return.

During Housing Sign-Up, those who attended the Theme Community open house for a specific hall will be given a higher Sign-Up priority for that hall. Any remaining spaces in the hall will be allocated during general Housing Sign-Up but, historically, all spaces have been filled by students interested in Theme Communities.

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive an email confirmation by November 17th, confirming your eligibility for priority in Sign Up for the communities where you attended the Open House. If for some reason you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the Housing Information office at 734-763-3164.
