How is Selection Priority Determined?

Students who do not sign for their same room (or are not eligible to sign for their same room) will enter a "drawing" - either SAME HALL or CAMPUS-WIDE.

New this year, the room selection drawings will be sequenced in brackets based on the number of completed terms lived in the residence halls or Northwood III (not including Winter Term 2008). Recognizing the commitment of our repeat residents, the longer they have lived on campus, the earlier their bracket will occur in the drawing. In order of selection, the brackets are:

7 or more terms (highest bracket)

5 to 6 terms

3 to 4 terms

2 or less terms

Roommate/group requests will be assigned based on the student in the group with the fewest number of terms.
