HITO/Rescomp seeks an organized, responsible, friendly and approachable person to provide fundamental office functions for our staff in general and in support of two managers in particular.
Minimum requirements for this position include: 1) availability to work a minimum of 10-20 hours a week for Fall/Winter Semesters; experience with the following: 2) Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications [professional or educational experience considered]; 3) Google calendaring to collaborate, keep track of events, attendees and locations; 4) experience greeting and routing customers visiting an office; 5) answering a general incoming phone line routing calls and; 6) retrieving mail and packages from a central building location.
Experience checking items in and out [books, equipment, any other object-related system]; inventorying and replacing office supplies; knowledge of intranets and experience writing HTML; posting room reservations; completing "other duties as assigned" and being amenable to doing work outside of this very narrow description [ie willing to pitch in and help with any office effort].
