Oxford Housing Exceptions

Oxford Houses contain a combination of built-in and modular furniture, so the modular furniture cannot be configured in all of the ways described.

Mattresses & Bedding

The mattresses provided by University Housing are fire- and flame-resistant and must stay in your room. Please do not bring your own mattress from home.

When shopping for linens, remember that all of our beds require extra-long, twin-size linens (36″ × 80″). These sizes are available at major retailers, particularly during the summer months when students are preparing for their move to college.

Storage

Storage space in the residence halls is extremely limited. Mattresses and modular furniture must remain in your assigned room, as it cannot be stored.

Custom Lofts

Custom-made lofts are not allowed in University Housing.

Easy Option for Room Set Up

Will you be living in Alice Lloyd, Couzens, Markley, Mosher-Jordan or Stockwell in the fall? Consider this easy, time-saving option. For a nominal fee, bedloft.com will arrange and set up your room - to your specifications - before you arrive for Move-In. For details and prices, visit bedloft.com. Deadline for ordering is Thursday, August 8.
